Plus, you can easily use Google Assistant to call contacts, though it'll now do so through "Meet." You can speak to up to 32 people at once, or leave a 30-second message if someone doesn't pick up. You can access it on both iOS and Android, as well as on tablets or any web browser.Īll Google Meet/Duo phone calls have end-to-end encryption, and automatically use minimal data (about 1Mbps) if you've connected to someone using cellular data instead of wifi.
The main Meet interface based on Duo is as minimal as it gets you just see a list of contacts that have Duo installed, and there's the option of inviting your friends over for those that don't already use Duo.
